people sunning themselves
walking on warm sand
old books off the shelves
one suns, one in shade
life of shade, life of lights
last day without our coats
taking in the all the sights
children digging moats
resting in the day; plods,
jump in waves of small
fish, dolphins hunt by pods,
carefully circling, squalls
of wind, clothes blowing
while holding flap page
swimming and towing
crab nets, shells of age.
children digging moats
resting in the day; plods,
jump in waves of small
fish, dolphins hunt by pods,
carefully circling, squalls
of wind, clothes blowing
while holding flap page
swimming and towing
crab nets, shells of age.
Unfortunately, here the last days without coats are already past, but spring will come again...eventually...
ReplyDeleteHmmm, this really has nothing to do with the dVerse prompt of CITY, does it?
ReplyDeleteIf you click on the picture you can see the city better. It is a five minute stroll from where the picture was taken. seasideauthor
